Install the addon loader and d3d wrapper. Download and extract the archive gw2radial.zip found in the latest release. Place gw2addon_gw2radial.dll in your addons folder inside a new folder named gw2radial (with the default game install path, this would be C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\addons\gw2radial ). Run the game!
Within this folder, delete Local.dat. Navigate to your Documents (or "My Documents") folder, then the Guild Wars 2 folder under it and look for another Local.dat in there and delete it if it exists. Note that deleting Local.dat will reset your hardware-related settings, which is mainly your remembered login and some sound and graphics settings.

Name your application "GW2", "Guild Wars 2," &c. In Advanced Settings: select Engine: "WS11WineCX64Bit20.0.2" or later. In Destination Select: rename the app (e.g. to "Guild Wars 2 Win64" so it doesn't conflict with your current Mac client). Download Anet's 64-bit Windows client (Gw2Setup-64.exe) from guildwars2.com. Wait for the installer to run.
Trash game. If your download speed is slow for updates, most likely the problem is the ridiculoualy old game engine that uses one enormous compressed file for the game's data. When updates come, the launcher has to search that enornous archive for each file, read into memory, then write to disk.
